Why my extended display went on reverse?

I've tried to use projector with my laptop with window 7 os, for my gig, but it went on reverse, the laptop became 2 and the projector to 1, iv'e tried to adjust the resolution to 1280-720, nothing happen, keep on trying but still projector became my desktop screen and laptop is extended monitor, can anyone help me please! thank!!

Press the windows key and then p.

This will give you a toolbar;



You can try various modes using that.

thanks mike, but i've tried doin that aswell, but din't work, even when i click the identify button it shows my laptop is the number 1 monitor, but when i click the ok button it still show my laptop as the extended screen>.

any body please!!!!!

R-Click desktop > Screen Resolution

Make sure you click the "Make this my main display" checkbox.

In your case, the laptops screen. This will make the projector the extended display.
