Will gaming kill my computer?

If it crashes, ya. lol

heat kill everything. :)

If you love gaming, spent on graphic card and gaming heat sink for CPU.
Ati card they create more heat than nvidia from my old experience. melt alot ati the old days but idk if the new product is diffrent from old card.

AMD runs way cooler then intel now from what i have seen my gpu runs around 45 to 50 c on average when gaming and underload idle round 39 to 40
Mine is better :p
With fan control enable to 38%
Idle 28-30
High end Gaming 30-35

I wouldnt say better i have a higher performang gpu then you do so i would think it'll get a little hotter then the 4800 series you are using and the driver as well if you are using 10.12 that is why it is cooler but in turn the WEI will go down that is a sh^t driver by the way i am still using 10.10

If i was using 10.12 i would be riding almost simular temps

Well Ive not gamed in a serious way for some years, and whilst it may be true that gaming excessively will not harm your PC I have always thought that its all the associated stuff that causes the problems.
For instance downloading and installing trial games by the bucketful and then deleting and then adding some mods etc etc etc
Every time you install something your registry is altered and every time you uninstall something gets left behind and eventually things start to slow down.

I have started using Revo Uninstaller or at least the free trial as it lets you delete all that stuff left behind by the standard uninstaller.

Now i could be talking b*//*ck$ so i stand to be corrected

Yea i admit i <<play>> too much with ati ccc (Auto-Tune gave me 1000 gpu clock and 1100 mem clock) with no problems)
The case is open in a separate cold room with 2 extra thermaltake fans blow direct to graphic card.
The fans are not set in full speed but i dont believe i will never need more cooling.
My pc is never shutdown pc but if you touch the hard disk or anything else are always cold.
Let me check motherboard and cpu temps and post back...
Ok in IDLE,System 25 and CPU 27 (Q6600 default is 9x266 and i set i to 6x400 for the 1:1 with ram.btw set q6600 to 6x400 is not actually overclocking.
9x266=2400<-->6x400=2400.

Hey, Ive been wondering if I play games too much on my computer if it will get ruined.. My parents seem to think so but I dont agree with them.

Windows 7 Home Premium x64
HP
AMD ATHLON (tm) II X2 220 Processor 2.8 Ghz
6 gb ram (5.75 usable)
Ati Radeon Hd 4200

I dont play high fps/hard core games because my graphics card cant handle it,
but I do play half-life 2 and Burnout Paradise and sometimes Soldier Front (no lag in all 3). So what do you guys think ?

Tell them thier noobs who dont know anything about computers :D:D jk DONT
