Ati card they create more heat than nvidia from my old experience. melt alot ati the old days but idk if the new product is diffrent from old card.
AMD runs way cooler then intel now from what i have seen my gpu runs around 45 to 50 c on average when gaming and underload idle round 39 to 40
With fan control enable to 38%
Idle 28-30
High end Gaming 30-35
I wouldnt say better i have a higher performang gpu then you do so i would think it'll get a little hotter then the 4800 series you are using and the driver as well if you are using 10.12 that is why it is cooler but in turn the WEI will go down that is a sh^t driver by the way i am still using 10.10
If i was using 10.12 i would be riding almost simular temps
