Will my motherboard support crossfire?

I have an Asus M4A785TV-V Evo motherboard. It has an integrated Hd 4200, but that is not used. It also has two PCIex16 slots, one of which has my HD5770 in.
If I get a second HD 5770 and put it in the other PCIe x16 slot, will I be able to run Crossfire?
The motherboard manual says that it supports Hybrid Crossfire between dedicated and integrated cards, but nothing about Crossfire between two dedicated cards.

If it doesn't support crossfire, can I still put a second graphics card in and use it in the same way?

If your Mobo book of words says yes, then it means yes!

You cannot crossfire a graphics card, such as the one you have, with any onboard graphics native to the mainboard AFAIK... all references to crossfire refers to use of both graphics slots and a crossfire bridge connector...

no no.... sorry to disappoint you but if it says its only hybrid.... well its only hybrid sadly..... so unless it says it somewhere else in the book it won't :( @Qdos yes you can with the hybrid crossfire its made to accelerate the graphics by using both onboard and the other

The OP stated the board had twin PCiE 16x slots.

If that were the case it would be ludicrous to think that Crossfire was not actually supported of course, so after what was said at #3 (and thanks for making that post) I took a look at the board and found the twin PCiE slots are in fact not as the OP stated.

They're a PCiE 16x and a PCiE 4x pair of slots, and will therefore not be capable of running Crossfire across these two slots.

@OP are you sure it isn't a M4785TD-V EVO Cause I don't see a TV-V EVO on the Asus site. I could be mistaken. If so link me to the board cause I can't find it. Ok this is what the manual says 2 x16 PCIe 2.0 slots (blue @ x16 mode, gray @ x4 mode) 1 PCIe x1 slot, 3x PCI slots. Copied from manual. So hyperxfire only. Fabe

Yes, it is an M4A785TD-V Evo, sorry about the typo.
I have looked through the manual a bit more. In the features list at the front, it says it supports Hybrid CrossfireX, and later, in the section about installing expansion cards, it says 'This motherboard supports two ATI CrossfireX PCIex16 graphics cards.'
