I just got an email from Malwarebytes notifying me about Windows "Secure Boot" update being forced on Windows computers "Your Windows PC has a security deadline in June 2026" Your Windows PC has a security deadline in June 2026 | Malwarebytes.
Is anyone familiar with this to know how risky this is and if I should worry that it may cause Win 7 to stop working?

Secure boot is only available if you have a UEFI BIOS, and apparently the XPS 8300 in NewW7User's specs doesn't. There's no such thing as secure boot in a Legacy BIOS.

I also have W7 Pro on my System Two, and several W7 Hyper-V VMs. My other machines run Windows 10/11. Their specs are in my Ten Forums & Eleven Forum profiles.

that's right. OP's Dell XPS 8300 computer first came out in year 2011 when UEFI and secure boot did not exist at all
so the secure boot problem does not apply nor does not concern the OP
