Hello there:
I have just recently experienced a logon failure to one of my 2 Win7 systems.
I have both a 32bit & a 64 bit system side by side.
I've lost the ability to logon to the 64 bit op/sys.
The boot files are still intact, both op/sys will properly boot but the 64 fails to logon.
All I get is the black logon screen with not actual attempt to logon. The mouse function is still intact.
Where in the root folder would I find the ini files that contain the logon protocol to get the desktop back up?
This has happened twice to me in the last 2 weeks, After replacing the op/sys the 1st time the rebuilt system has just done it to me again. The 32 bit system is unharmed. From within the 32 system I can navigate thru the 64 system files.
thx
