I'm new to the Win 7 community and i already have a problem. I just installed Win 7 x64 4 days ago because everyone was telling me how well it runs but i had a big surprise.
The instalation was fast , after that i installed the sound driver ( because i needed the control pannel to configure my surround system ) and the video drivers ( for the control center ). After that all the other programs i usually use.
The problem is that everything i do it runs very slow. If for example i install a game and try doing something at the same time...
And also games/programs take very long to launch. This didn't happen in vista.
I really could use some help to identify the problem...
BTW my specs are:
q6600
4gb ddr2 800 cl4
hd4850
seagate 250gb sata2
mobo gigabyte p45-ds3r
