S/one kindly provided me a screen shot of what the various
Office Suites include ... but I lost it in a rebuild.

My new Win 7 Pro has in the All Program list under MS Office:

MS Office - 60 Day Trial Online
MS Office Access/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Publisher/Word (all 2007) and
MS Office Tools

My Q. Are these 2007 Office programs on 60 day trial ?
Or do they come with Win 7 Pro?
The link '60 Day Trial' just opens a blank window.

If they are all 'trial' ... what happens after 60 days?
Will I have to uninstall?
And if so exactly what do I uninstall? (List of programs in Prog & Features
doesn't say Word, Excel etc it says "Wen Components, Primary Interop, Business Connectivity etc)

The names are kind of self-explanatory. It is indeed a 60-day trial and what happens after the 60 days expire is that although you will have the Office programs there, they will be reduced to essentially being nothing more than viewers for their respective file types; you would neither be able to edit existing nor create new documents.

A screenshot would help though to more easily identify if this is a 60 day trial. Regarding the Primary Interop, Business Connectivity and Web Components, they are generally companion pieces to Microsoft Office that although they would continue working properly (at least the Web Components and Primary Interop [which assists with some Office add-ons]), they wouldn't be of much use without Microsoft Office.

Thank you Darician.
What is really not clear to me at all is why every other program on the computer
is listed exactly the same in the All Programs menu as in the Uninstall Menu.

So, for instance, if I want to uninstall CClearer it's very straight-forward.

However when it comes to MS I'm not really sure what is what as the uninstall
menu is so different from Alll Programs menu
For example: don't care for Win Messenger (which annoyingly keeps popping
up) but I can't see how to remove it.

My feeling is that this is part of what keeps getting MS into anti-competetive
legal action. The programs are neither clear nor transparent.
When the dvd of Open Office arrives I would like to remove all MS Office
but I want to continue using my hotmail a/c. So I am not confident about
removing all components.
