I did a clean install of win 7 from vista. All drivers up to date. When using the mouse scroll wheel or the slider on the right side of the screen to scroll up and down a web page the computer restarts. comes back to screen that says windows did not shut down correctly do you want to restart hit enter. Called HP support, they say to reinstall vista and the do an upgrade to win 7. also had me tap f8 will booting and change a setting that said do not restart after failure or something like that. Thought I would get a second opinion. Computer.Pavilion Elite e9180f. 12 GB DDR3 Mem. Geforce GTS250 graphics card. Any help would be appreciated, don't want to have to reinstal everything again. Thanks Patrick.

Hi.

Make sure the mouse driver, video card and chipset drivers are the latest available.

You can go to C:\Windows\Minidump

Rar or zip the contents there and attach to a post using the paperclip.

This way, we can look at possible reasons for the crash.
