I recently installed Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for my Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit edition. As the installation finished the computer restarted and I did not give it another thought. Later on I returned to the Windows Update screen to see if there were any recent updates available for my PC. To my surprise all the older updates that I previously installed before the service pack installation have reappeared. My question now is, Do I reinstall the older updates? and Will they overwrite any files that the Service Pack 1 installation has already installed?

If they are already installed and the new updates overwrite, it is not going to cause a problem. The worst that could happen is that you will be up to date.
