Hey guys,
I have been having stability issues with my win 7 machine, and I would like to know what to do to fix them. I ran SFC/ SCANNOW 3X, and each time the following message came up:
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
I attempted to look at the log file, but my access was denied. When I right-clicked on the filename, there was no option to open it as an Administrator.
I would like to know what steps I should take now.
After looking around on this site, it seems like my best option now would be to do a repair install of windows 7. I looked through Brink's tutorial on how to do a repair install, and everything makes sense to me. The only question I have right now has to do with making sure I don't mess something up with my drivers. Is there a way to copy all my current drivers to prevent any sort of trouble after the repair install?
Thanks again for your help.
