i use my XP harddrive for EVERYTHING, but I had a spare(40gb) ATA hdd laying around so I picked up win7 ultimate and installed it on the 40gb drive, the problem is now I can ONLY boot too the win7 drive with no OSchoices menu for booting too XP....... And my comp is so damn old the bois only allows a boot choice of one hdd(currently the win 7 one) so I can't boot too XP that way either..... How do I fix it so that when I boot up I get a menu where I can choose which OS to boot from?

Welcome to Windows 7 Forums POTaDOS,

When you installed the windows 7, did you boot to the DVD, or run it from XP? (I had a very similar problem when installing windows 7, only i was dealing with vista as opposed to XP)

Install EasyBCD 2.02 to Win7 from the link in Theog's post above.

On Add OS Entry tab, add XP, accept any offered boot files, allow it to autocomplete, Save, reboot to Dual Boot Menu.

If any problems occur, post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Mgmt drive map with listings showing all columns, using the Snipping Tool in Start Menu.
