Hi marsmimar,
Thank you for your help.
I don't understand much about computer. My second computer is running Windows 7 and it was very slow before. But after I had installed Advanced System Optimizer of Systweak, it worked faster. I was very pleased. I'm not sure what I feel is right because I am really really bad at the computer.
No apologies needed. We all started out being very bad with computers. I'm still very bad!
Tools like Systweak make many of their computer changes by using the Windows 7 tools. Instead of you having to look for disk cleanup or disk defragmenter, etc, Systweak puts them all in one convenient place ... their control board or dashboard so you don't have to waste time looking for what you need. And they make it even easier by usually offering a one click solution. "Click this button and we will make your computer faster." If Systweak makes your computer faster and if it's easier for you to use this, that's great. But may I make a suggestion?
1. Before you use Systweak (or any other similar tool) make a restore point just in case something goes wrong. A restore point might help get your computer working again if something was cleaned out that should
not have been cleaned.

2. Even better is to buy an external hard drive and create a System Image. A System Image is like a photo of your entire hard drive exactly as you have it set up. It includes all of your files, music, documents, personal settings - everything on your hard drive. If you get a virus or if Systweak really breaks your computer, a System Image will return your machine to the exact condition it was in on the day you made the Image. Windows 7 has a basic imaging tool or you can use a free imaging tool from Macrium or Paragon. A System Image is much, much better than a restore point.
