Windows 7 too slow boot up (up to 1h20min)

Hello,

My brother's laptop (Lenovo G500), takes more than 1h to completely boot up since 3 days now.
he tried to reinstall win 7 again (without removing the old one still have some important data).
the laptop specification :

Lenovo G500 - Core i3 3110M - 8 Go RAM - 500 Go HDD

What do you mean "He tried" ??

Did you create another partition and install Windows there, to see if it had the same problem ???

You only need to create a 20 or 25 GB partition to test the hardware.

My brother re-install win 7 without removing the old one (so the installation will keep all the user files in Windows.old folder).
can you tell me which tool do I have to use o create a partition to re-install win 7 on it.

even if i try to boot from the win 7 CD or USB it takes forever (more than 2H)
