Hello there guys newbie to your forums!
my problem..2 days ago was playing cod black ops 2 and my pc froze..crashed to desktop and then got bsod
while i was playing i was voice chatting on skype, had windows media player playing music and facebook at google chrome
after restart pc booted normally but after 10 mins got bsod again
that happend 2 more times..
then got to safe mode uninstalled drivers(13.1)booted in normal mode on 800x600 resolution installed catalyst control center 13.4, rebooted but after welcome screen my screen goes black and i can only restart my pc..
now it can boot in safe mode normally, if i try normal mode it only works without the drivers on 800x600 resolution..
what should i do?
tried : different versions of drivers..nothing
system restore before bsod..nothing
install only drivers..nothing
expand.exe command via cmd for atikmpag.sy_..still nothing
pc clean from viruses not any warning at all
no overclock done ever and all cables are ok..even my temps are good both on my 6950(aftermarket cooler) and on my cpu(same thing here)

Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

The zip does not contain any stop 0x116 BSOD; though it is a display related error. After updating the display driver. From the BIOS date, it is clear that it is a very old computer. Dismantle it, clean the inside carefully. Specially clean the air vents and fan grills. While re-seating, apply thermal paste to the CPU.

Your motherboard is very old, and dont have any windows 7 drivers listed. I guess the GPU is old, too? Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

You should install the service pack and the other windows updates as otherwise the computer will remain vulnerableto all types of threats.

System configuration is not needed, here is the related information:
Code:
BiosMajorRelease = 8
BiosMinorRelease = 12
BiosVendor = American Megatrends Inc.
BiosVersion = 0802

BaseBoardManufacturer = ASUSTeK Computer INC.
BaseBoardProduct = [URL="http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5E64_WS_Evolution/"]P5E64 WS EVOLUTION[/URL]
BaseBoardVersion = Rev 2.xx
Bios date goes to 2008, much earlier than windows 7 released. Motherboard does not have any driver for windows 7 listed, but still it is OEM :rolleyes: No wonder you will not agree to install updates.

I guess you may not continue, but if you do, post a report following http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-...n-issue-posting-instructions.html#post1957831.
