Win7 Build 7100 random restarts

Ive been having these random restart issues on my DELL Vostro Laptop. It just re-starts regardless of whatever I am doing and there is no real pattern. Its a brand new laptop, its been less than a month since I got it.

I don't think its a hardware issue but these restarts are quite annoying. I was told that the Windows 7 Build 7100 is buggy since its an evaluation copy so I tried upgrading it but the setup gets stuck at 55% of copying files and just stops working. Nothing happens after that and eventually the damn thing restarts so I don't know what to do at this point.

I have read all the posts possible and Im still confused as to what to do. Anyone else having the same issue with their laptops or specifically this version of Win7?

7100 has expired and will reboot every two hours, I suggest that you upgrade to Windows 7 final 7600.

Damnit! No one told me this. It could have saved me a whole lot of grief

Upgraded to the final version and now no more reboots. Phew, thank God I checked here before sending my laptop in for warranty.
