Win7 Desktop background very bright

Using a custom build, Radeon R9 270x GPU. Logged one one day, and the desktop background is very bright. The rest of windows 7 looks fine, just my desktop background is very bright, like someone turned the gamma up on just the background. I have it set to change the background every 6 hours, but it happens with every background. If I view the picture in my files, it looks fine, but as soon as it's my desktop background it is far too bright. Help?!

Can you possibly attach a screenshot of your bright desktop background?

Also is the task bar bright as well or is it just the background picture?

Welcome to Seven Forums Vdeave. That is an odd one if only the desktop is affected. Did this just occur? If so, a system restore point just before the problem began may do the trick.
