Solved Win7 Disable MAX_PATH = Enable Long Path Support

is there a way in windows 7 to regedit disable MAX_PATH limit to enable Long Path support?

if this can be done, then i won't need to use an additional 3rd party utility. like maybe increase max path from 256 to 32767 characters
