I have a problem with Windows 7, I'll start from the beginning:

Using Smarty Uninstaller I removed some game yesterday. After removing I stopped the program and I removed the "remnants" with the command "Force uninstall" (do not know if this has any connection, but this was the last thing I did with the computer). After that I turned off Smarty Uninstaller and I noticed that all icons on the Start bar disappeared and when I refreshed it all the icons on the desktop also disappeared. When I tried to use the Control Panel it displayed a message like "It refers to a component that is not installed (...)", plus some details, which I can not remember. I thought that after the reboot everything will be back to normal, but it turned out that on the login screen instead of user names and any inscriptions are some strange strings such as squares, circles, hearts, etc. When I try to log in, it displays a message written with these symbols and return to the login screen. In Safe Mode I can log in, but there are those symbols istead of letters and I can not run anything.

Can I somehow fix it without using the method of formatting? : P I've had a couple of important files on the desktop and I need it back.

Let me add that the system is original, and the equipment is

Try a System Restore to a time before you uninstalled the game.

You might then try Revo Uninstaller to do the uninstall a second time---or just uninstall through Programs and Features in Control Panel. I have never heard of Smarty Uninstaller and it may have caused some problems.

I tried, but every time I try to run anything the OS displays some error (I can't read it, because there are those symbols instead of letters, I'm guessing that it's something like "It refers to a component that is not installed (...)").

Smarty Uninstaller: The Smart Way to Uninstall | Uninstall programs completely with Smarty Uninstaller.

I know it removes, inter alia, some registry entries remaining after removal of the program. Maybe that fact has something to do with the problem.
