Here's my output from MGA Diag. Please Help. This is NOT a bootleg copy. I simply had Enterprise on a very slow PC that conked out before I could format that C:\ to eliminate that license (if I'm saying that correctly) There may be another LIVE copy on my former landlord's PC, which I absolutely can't contact. Hi Gplea,

couple things stopping this activating.

Its a volume KMS licence - these keys are Activated via a companies/colleges server
from the report
Please use slmgr.vbs /ato to activate and update KMS client information in order to update values.

AND more importantly
As your computer has no SLIC table it will never activate, you would require a MAK key

If it was previously activated then that computer was an OEM, Dell/Acer/Asus/etc, that validated against the client KMS server, or an exploit was in use

Hi Gplea,

if your still in contact with the firm/college that provided you the original KMS key - they should also have a supply of MAK ones.

MS are somewhat lenient with non-genuine systems, they will still "offer" security updates to your system but not OS fixes.
Your background will turn black and the notification nag will appear regularly, but they do not do anything to your fies/folders.
