Hello,

I have a strange problem with my current rig-except a cold boot-on the last few weeks.
Whenever I boot the first time of the day (never happens on reboot) Windows is trying to reinstall the GPU drivers as you can see from the pic

I have no idea why this is happening. Anyone with similar problem by any chance?

Theodore

Hey ICit2lol,

Thnx for the quick reply mate.
I tried both just in case!

The within Win check didn't come with a problem but I'm unsure about the DOS one. It didn't bring me a bad sector but I can't "read" the rest of the info through the event viewer as for the MFT.

The info says :

CHKDSK discovered free space marked as allocated in the
master file table (MFT) bitmap.
Correcting errors in the Volume Bitmap.
Windows has made corrections to the file system.

Hi Henador,

This issue can be caused by leftovers from your previous drivers. What you need to do is remove the current drivers, clean up with DriverSweeper and then do a clean install of the latest drivers for your card.

Keep us posted.

Hi guys,

Thnx for the replies!
I have always the latest non-beta drivers for my Ti but I will try to get a clean install.
I was always being a fan of Driver Sweeper but does the Driver Fusion do the same job isn't it?

Yes, they are same. I use DriverSweeper. So, I suggested that. ;)

Job's done by cleaning the drivers and re-install them.
I will never understand what's the purpose of "Clean install" from Nvidia drivers.
Thank you for the help peeps :)
