My friend has Windows 7 beta installed on computer for about one year. And now for about last 2 months his computer keeps rebooting maybe every 2 hours. I was searching on Google for help with this but all what Ihave found was just that I have to change year to 2008. Has Win 7 beta any timebomb? And can this be repaired without changin year because my friend Doesnt want to install Full version of Windows 7. He has genuine Product key....

Any Ideas?

Best regards, Betacheer.

Yes it has always been timebombed. no it cant be fixed especially after it has started the limited functionality mode. PLus its not legal Genuine product key for beta? Beta has to be clean installed off and a new version installed if he has a RTM key
