I recently found out that whenever I play a song or anything in this case, with windows media player that came with the OS, it plays the song/ video... But here's the catch, I can't click ANYTHING within the media player. Not even escape (X) button to close the media player. I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to end the task, even so, the task doesn't end right away. It takes about 20 seconds and it pops up "END PROGRAM" to end now (THIS PROGRAM IS NOT RESPONDING).

Please let me know what to do

seems to me there is a lack of available ram for media player to function properly. I say this only because usually when there is a lack of available ram; programs and or services within the background of windows will function really slow or sometimes not at all and will display the issues you are experiencing.

Also have a pretty bad speaker setup which is a klipsch promedia 5.1 surround speaker setup with huge subwoofer and lg blu ray player/writer. Also a hp officejet pro 8600 plus wireless all in one and a logitech s7500 webcam.
I don't think that would be the cause of it... for I have 8GB of DDR3 and I just built the computer my self :X
