I've been trying to solve this for a few months now but I haven't gotten anywhere. I've followed all the instructions here and they still continue to fail.

http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-updates-activation/264840-windows-update-posting-instructions.html
I would really appreciate any insight as to what you think may be causing the issue, reformatting would really set me back since this computer has some industry specific CAD programs that are a pain to setup.

thanks again,Mark

For some reason I cant post an attachment "attach button doesn't respond, in fact none of them do", I'll add a reply to the thread to see if I can then.

Update: Sorry about the missing attachments, I moved them out of the folder and forgot to attach, there are a couple of older CBS Persist files if you need them.

thanks

Mark

The error code 9C59 appeared when I tried to add Internet Explorer 11 to the update, prior to that it wasn't there.

There don't appear to be any CheckSUR.log result in your logs - please post them
There don't seem to be any SFC result either - lease post the two latest CBSpersist files

I only get notified of new posts - not amendments/additions to existing ones, so only just found your files.

The CheckSUR Persist log is very interesting....
Here's the summary from the first time you ran it (back in 2013)
Code:
Summary:
Seconds executed: 1501
 Found 85331 errors
 Fixed 85327 errors
CSI Unexpected Failure Total count: 1
CSI Missing Component Key Total count: 14090
Fixed: CSI Missing Component Key. Total count: 14090
CSI Missing Pinned Component Key Total count: 5619
Fixed: CSI Missing Pinned Component Key. Total count: 5619
CSI Missing Identity Total count: 19709
Fixed: CSI Missing Identity. Total count: 19709
CSI Missing C Mark Total count: 22101
Fixed: CSI Missing C Mark. Total count: 22100
CSI F Mark Missing Total count: 29428
Fixed: CSI F Mark Missing. Total count: 29428
CBS MUM Corrupt Total count: 2
The remaining cat/mum file replacements were actually false positives.
This approaches the record for repairs in CheckSUR - and I suspect that it hides a multitude of other system problems at the time.

The latest CheckSUR.log is clear.

The CBSPersist file you uploaded is the biggest I have ever personally seem - and appears to be too big for WinRAR to expand (or perhaps is corrupt).
What is the date of the next oldest one?

2013, humm that is strange for the first one because I typically build all our computers but we purchased a CNC machine and this is one of the computers that came with the machine and we didn't get it until the beginning of 2nd qtr 2014. I wonder if there was something up with the Image they used to load the machine but that's a guess.

Yea i thought thous files were large but this has been out of my realm of expertise but I RAR them up so i'm not sure if i messed up there but i'll check, I had a hard time getting them small enough to post.

Let me look at the machine backups and see how far they go back, ill see if I can pull those files before i ran this latest SURT, I had run the SURT a couple months ago and couldn't resolve it then and just set this problem to the side so until i had time to come back to it, I ran it again just before i posted which is what you seen here. If those files are to large to get uploaded here I'll put them on my ftp then send you the login, if you are cool with that. Thanks again Mr Noel, I really appreciate it.

There's no recent CheckSUR log there? - latest one is from 9th Nov 2014 (which was clear)
There's no errors (and no SFC?) in the latest CBS.log or CBSPersist log - I didn't think there was much point in going back further at this time, but I'll try to look at them after work tonight.

Humm that is strange, should i maybe just clear the log folder and start out from scratch with running a new SURT and see what the results are, seem like i looked back and saw the last successful updates ending somewhere in June 14, I haven't gone back thru all the backups yet, I may can go back further if need be. Maybe even restore the computer to a earlier point on a spare drive and run a new SURT just to see if we see anything different. Thank Noel I appreciate sir.
