windows 10 dvd install problems

My OS has been 7 for a number of years on SSD.
2 weeks ago my computer died, wasn't sure what the problem was and as my last parts upgrade was 2013 ,I bought MSI B450 A PRO MAX, AMD Ryzen 3200g and new ram plus better psu.
I was planning to stay with windows 7 but didn't realise MB, Ryzen cpu didn't have support for 7( usb ports didn't show up,3.0 or 2.0 which left me with my ps/2 keyboard as only thing working.
Computer started and went to home screen ok but couldn't do any without usb support, so thought I would upgrade to 10 .
Got a genuine W10 dvd but have tried everything to install, gets as far as language part and then install button but then pop up.."A media driver your computer needs is missing"
As I still have windows 7 installed I tried auto run but get pop up box saying "spwizeng.DLL missing.
Sorry for the long post..has anyone have any ideas to get 10 installed?

Did you get the latest win 10 free from https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10


Just hit update and it should do it all for you

Samurai, I have a genuine W10 dvd, as I said I have no usb support, so no mouse control,keyboard ok as it is ps/2.
Now, as windows 7 is already on the ssd that I am trying to put 10, maybe I need to format ssd first..I am running out of ideas tbf.
SIW2..no usb mouse control...getting around internet with keyboard
Could problem be that I have an OEM version dvd and I need to format SSD to start fresh install?

You can install Win 7 but you have to add some drivers to the Win 7 installation media to have USB and see the SSD. See post #2

Win 10 has the drivers for new MB as tours. All you have to do is to boot from the Win 10 media (DVD or USB)
To install win 10 you have to clean all the partitions on the SSD (you will loose all your data).

If your Win 7 is a Retail version, you can use the Win 7 license key on a clean install (free "upgrade").

Got it sorted, no idea why windows 10 dvd didn't boot but got another usb copy of the windows media creation tool and all went find, thanks to all
