I hope I can post this on this forum and in here. Don't come on here a lot unless I have a problem or want some advice.

Has anyone else managed to get online with w10?

Since I updated it and installed it I haven't spent a single minute online. For one reason. I can't

I'm fairly sure with w7 you could plug the ethernet cable into the PC/laptop and you'd be online. I never actually remember having to enter any passwords as it was a wired connection. I have since been bought a WiFi card and that works great. Just need the usual verification when you setup and you're away.

Fast forward to w10 and I've not had a single update.
I have a connection to the router in question but "no internet"

A wired connection gives the same results. All troubleshooting doesn't get me any further either.

Any help appreciated as it's impossible to even update drivers etc without any sort of connection

Cheers

Hi:

Has anyone else managed to get online with w10?
If the stats published by MS are any indication, at least 400 million devices run Win10.
It's safe to say that most of them have gotten online at some point (I know I have, with my Win10 box).

Kidding aside, however, this is sevenforums.com.:)
If you are having trouble with Win10 after upgrading it might be better to post over in our sister forum at tenforums.com.

The folks there are mostly the same ones as here, but there are many more Win10 gurus.
If you fill in the system specs in your forum profile before you start that new post, it will help the members to better help you with your issue.

Cheers,
MM
