Good day.
I have a laptop running windows 7 home premium,At the moment the only thing on it is the operating system. It's idle in the corner of my little room that I use for pc work it's gathering dust.
Now to the point of Windows 10 yes I do have the W10 icon showing in the taskbar. Is it possible to install the W10 starter or what ever it's called now on to this idle laptop.
Does anyone have any ideas on this question Please.
Many Thanks.
Forgot to say the lappy is a HP Compaq C61.
Thanks.

The icon allows you to reserve your copy released July 29th. Should be installed sometimes shortly thereafter if you reserve it. This will upgrade your Windows 7.

You can also shrink C to make space to Clean Install Windows 10 Technical Preview at any time to test and compare it to Windows 7. This will have no bearing on whether you reserve your copy. You can then decide if you want to install the free Upgrade, or continue running Technical Preview indefinitely. The free Upgrade offer will last for a year.
