Windows 7 5.1 Surround.

I know that their has been a problem with Windows 7 and 5.1 Surround Sound but I'm using Realtek HD Audio and well it is working, but the rear left and rear right seem too quiet compared to the Fl, Fr, M speakers. They are almost un noticeable in the room unless you put your ear to it. Anyone know a fix for this?

Do you have speaker fill enabled?

No idea where it might be in the Realtek controls, but have you tried here,

well it o nly shows left ande right when i look at the same settigns you did stormy
nvm i found theat settinga nd their all the same

how have you set it up?

I have mine connected to my Yamaha AV receiver using an optical connection, and have full control over all my speakers using realtek

I have a logitech surround sound setup they plug into the sub then the pc.

i enabled both of those and the rear speakers are still very quiet nothing semed to change
