Hi to all, a few months ago i purchased my PC with all new components including monitor, so since the early days of use i had random BSOD with artifacts on screen and restoration kernel video driver. Often the system crashed and i have to shutdown the computer using the power button.

My components are:

Windows 7 home premium 64-bit full retail (not SP1 installed)
Asus Sabertooth P67
i5 2500k
Corsair pro 650 watt
MSI gtx 560 ti oc
Asus Xonar DX
Corsair SSD F120
Western digital green 2TB
Monitor Dell u23111h

i tested the ram with Memtest86+ 6 cycles and no error, i sent the video card to support but it working prefectly, i change the slot PCI but the situation not change. I read other thread and i tested file system with CHKDKS but intact. I not have virus or malware in the system. All component are update to last driver except the video card because i try with last driver 280 and the crash is continuos and the situation worsens dramatically. The bios of motherboard is not update. I used Norton Antivirus 2011 and sometimes also creates BSOD reboot and disabling protection. I very appreciate if someone help me to solve this problem that has tormented me for months and seems to have not solution:( Thanks!
I add the report of BSOD with Blue screen view:

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Unfortunately there are no DMP in the folder. Did you try the other method?

smoking,
You want to set up for catching the dump BEFORE the dump occurs.

This is basically a repeat of the same info that zigzag gave you:

MEMORY DUMPS - REQUIREMENTS

Enable automatic management of the Paging file
WIN + PAUSE/BREAK key combo |
Advanced system settings (left-hand side) |
Advanced tab, Performance section, Settings |
Advanced tab, Virtual Memory section, Change |
checkmark Automatically manage paging file size for all drives |
OK | OK | OK

STARTUP AND RECOVERY SETTINGS
WIN + PAUSE/BREAK key combo |
Advanced system settings (left-hand side) |
Advanced
tab, Startup and Recovery section, Settings |
in the System Failure section, checkmark Write an Event to the system log and uncheck Automatically restart|
Under Write debugging information, select Small memory dump |
in the Small dump directory: box, enter %SystemRoot%\Minidump | OK

If you get a crazy message from Win 7 about your paging file being too small, then just ignore the message since we have already made sure that the paging file is set to be managed by Win 7.

ENABLE THE WINDOWS ERROR REPORTING SERVICE
WIN key | type SERVICES.MSC | ENTER |
Scroll down to Windows Error Reporting Service |
Rt-clk on Windows Error Reporting Service | Properties |
General
tab | for Startup type, choose Automatic |
In Service status, Start button (unless grayed out) | OK

Smoking,

First thing we need is an updated netgear driver.

Here's a clip from another post in a microsoft forum:

The scmndisp.sys is dated Jan 17, 2007 so this driver may not be compatible with Windows 7.
The scmndisp.sys is a driver that is associated with a Netgear wireless adapter.
What wireless adapter do you have and can you obtain an updated driver?

The date on yours is also 17 Jan 2007.

After updating that driver, let's see how things look. If you get another bsod, upload a new zip file.

Newest Related to NAVEX15.SYS Antivirus Engine from Symantec Corporation. I would remove it and replace with Microsoft security essentials.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support

Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials

These all point to your video subsystem,

"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception.

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OSs like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds.

If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.

Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.

I would download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video temps Let us know if you need help http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

I tried all the tests for drivers that are in the link you posted, all installed programs are compatible and do not think it's a driver issue. Although the temperatures are in accordance with 38-40° in idle. I tried to run Furmark in 1080p and in 720p but in both cases the system crash after 5-6 sec with artifacts on the monitor and test failed. With Kombustor the test was successfully with good temp (max 55° in 1080 test). Also in the game at 1080p do not have problems but because Furmark crashed? Sometimes in boot the word appears on deskotp "TurboVhelp has stopped working" should be a problem of Asus suite I have to reinstall it? Thanks

Please help me, at least i understand if the problem is hardware of videocard or caused by some driver. The Bsod are frequent and continuous when the computer is turned on for severals hours. I checked with Afterburner the temp of videocard and are normal but when a crash occurs the temp up in an inexplicable way over 70° when they are in idle and for example i surf in internet. I do not know if it is the cause of the crash or the consequence. I tested the videocard with software suggested in other thread OCCT to 1920 x 1080 at 60hz and the test crashed in few seconds, idem in 1024 x 768. I also tested the GPU memory and post the results for 7 passes and no errors detected. I post the grapichs of OCCT test. Think it's a videocard problem or not? Many thanks
