Windows 7 64 bit with Nvidia GTX 560 Pixel problem

Hey everybody this is my first time actually using a forum and I was hoping you could help me with a problem I'm having with my new computer. As stated in my title I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with a Nvidia gtx 560 and continue to have a strange pixel problem that only occurs in things that don't fall under games, home screen, google chrome, etc.

Personally if it were me, and knowing it was a new computer, id send it back.

It could be a number of things, from a dodgy GPU, to dodgy ram or power supply, to something simple like only needing a driver update.

Do you have any idea as to what particular part could cause such a specific problem? I'm pretty good with computers and planned on upgrading some of the things on here eventually, but everything is pretty top of the line except maybe the power supply.

well if it were me, id go with RAM or GPU.

Run Memtest on your ram, and see how it goes, or take out and only run with one stick, anf then try the other ect..

The odd this is you say it doesnt happen in games, thats when everything is under most stress.

Go a head and install the latest nvidia drivers as well if you already havent done so.

It would appear a simple update has fixed it. I would never have started a thread if I knew that was the problem because as you could see from my picture, it said the drivers were up to date. (screenshot was taken minutes ago)
