Windows 7 64 wont update OR system restore

Wouldnt even search for updates, now im getting this;
""WindowsUpdate_80246008" "WindowsUpdate_dt000""
any adive/ideas? system restore fails in normal AND safe mode.
This is the first time windows update has even let me connect in weeks.

Already tryed turning off and uninstalling antivirus software too

EDIT: Forgot to add, also will not allow me too troubleshoot with windows update in the controll pannel menu.
