I find it an interesting coincidence that your using a SATA HDD for your OS, when I said my SATA crashes every 5 min it was an over exaggeration, normally happens when I'm moving data around copying, pasting or just watching a vid thats on the drive, any time there is alot of data moving around it has a spit, and your drive would be doing stuff constantly if the OS is on it, I would seriously conceder moving you OS to you PATA HDD.
