Hello! I've found this forum while googling for my problem. Hope you can help.

First, sorry about my english. I'm Portuguese so, I'm making a rough translation of my desktop that is in Portuguese.

A few days ago I noticed something wrong with the ContextMenu Submenus in my Laptop. Normally if you right click a file or folder and hover the mouse over an option with an arrow, the arrow will automatically open the submenus right? This works fine for all my icons in the Desktop.

But if I select a Folder or File in any other part of the OS, be it Downloads, Drive C, etc etc etc, I have to click the arrow for it to open the submenus. But if click a blank space and rightclick the file again, the hover will work again for that file, but if i choose another file, it doesn't work again.

Note that this started to happen just a few days ago. Until then, the submenus worked fine. Already done a restore point, but the problem wasn't solved.

Any ideas? It's not a huge problem, but it's frustating. I don't want to format and reinstall windows... :D

Ok, solved my own problem. In less than a minute. lolol

The problem was with the new Iobit Advanced Systemcare 7. I uninstalled it using Revo Uninstaller (while I was writting my first post, and ContextMenu Submenus are working fine again. :D

UPDATE:

Actually after a few installs and uninstalls I've discovered the problem. The New Iobit Uninstaller that comes with Advanced Systemcare7 is in Beta Stage and it installs without permission. It creates a ContextMenu entry and that was the problem. I installed AC7 and used Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Iobit Uninstaller 3. That solved the problem with the submenus.

Ok, so what programs would you recommend to clean and do maintenance? To be honest, I don't like Iobit ASC7... I even have it's automatic services turned off so it's not running after every boot.
But the ASC6 did help a few months back to clean a file/registry that Malwarebytes didn't clean after finding something. My father's computer was really slow... used ASC6 and it was ok after a reboot.

I also have a list of other freeware that I use to clean my pc
-Ccleaner
-Bleachbit
-Glary Utilities
-Ashampoo WinOptimizer Free
-TweakNow Regcleaner
-WiseCare 365 (don't really know what to think about it... it does it's job, but something feels wrong)
-SlimCleaner
-Auslogics DiskDefrag.

They all discover something that the others didn't... lolol. I only use them all once a month. But my everyday app is Ccleaner.
