Solved Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade query

Hi

A few years back I bought a PC which had Windows 7 Home Premium installed. I purchased a Windows Anytime Upgrade pack to get me to Windows 7 Ultimate.

My hard drive has now died and I would like to resurrect Win7 Ult on the new drive. From what I recall before there was an icon which you clicked that took you to an MS page where you inserted the upgrade key.

I have product key for the original Win 7 Home Premium installation and the relevant Win 7 Home Premium ISO. I get the impression that Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade is no longer available so I am wondering how to go about doing the upgrade using the key I have available.

Does the ultimate DVD came with a Upgrade label on it?
The Win 7 ultimate should have come with a ultimate code key.
If you have the ultimate code key and the DVD came with a Upgrade label on it, just do a clean install without activating.
Then repeat the clean install, deleting all partitions on the disk.
Upgrade installation disk will search for a Windows folder. So the first installation will be only to create a windows folder, the second installation will to activate.
If you download a Win 7 ultimate SP1 you don't need to install twice. In witch language you want to install?
