Hi, I upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional yesterday using Windows Anytime Upgrade. Very shortly thereafter, my system started crashing with BSOD:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: d1
BCP1: FFFFF98035378E60
BCP2: 0000000000000002
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: FFFFF8800462B0E9
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

The first two times it happened I was copying files from another computer on my network to a shared folder on the computer that is crashing. The third time was very early this morning while I was not using the computer, though I had kicked off a format of an external USB hard drive the night before that did not complete successfully.

Note that you will see some minidump files from 2/6/14 - 3/12/14 -- I was getting BSOD crashes last year after I first built the system that were resolved by replacing the memory. Then I had one random crash on 4/11/14 and another random one on 4/18/15. The last three (6/24/15 and 6/25/15) started after the Windows 7 Professional upgrade.

Thanks very much for your assistance.

Hi dharrold.

Download and install Atheros LAN driver from GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-Z77-DS3H (rev. 1.0) ... see how it goes. Let us know.

It must have been the Atheros LAN driver because I haven't had any crashes since updating it. Thank you!
