So, here is the problem. When I start up the windows it boots like it should and when I enter the password of the user, the screen goes black and it freezes. No pointer, cant access task manager etc. The only way to solve this is to restart the PC and it will boot without any problems. I installed windows 8 x64, the same problem. Installed windows 7 32bit the same problem and 64 bit the same problem. I installed the latest drivers available for this computer. I searched on google and some people were saying that it is display driver problem. I downloaded 4 different driver versions , still the same thing. I havent updated the BIOS because I am scared of getting a dead motherboard. I also started sfc scannow but it says Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. Please help me to solve this problem is too annoying.

As described above, I done all of those things. I did system restore but this problem occurs after every fresh installed OS. The registry is OK. I installed many drivers and updated to the most recent version but still the same thing

It looks like your Power Supply (PSU) is bad, this shows only one voltage within tolerances, the +5V, red box, and your CMOS battery on the board is low too, yellow box.

Replace the battery, it's not causing the issues but should be replaced. What is the make and model of your PSU?

Go into bios, and look in the hardware monitor section, tell us what the +12V, 5V, and +3.3V values are. The symptoms you describe could be the PSU not putting out enough power. Can you tell us the manufacturer of the PSU and it's max wattage and Amps rating? It should be on the sticker on the side of the PSU. The program you showed a screenshot of is good for some things, but is not good at reading voltages of the PSU.

We haven't heard from you lately. Are things any different? You said your PSU is a 230W. The GTS450 at idle pulls 130W and at full load can pull 220W. You PSU can't handle the load, it sounds like.

I changed the PSU. Thats why I havent posted anything. I added a 500W PSU. Still the same thing. The thing that annoys me a lot is that I must restart the PC after first boot up because it freezes on the log in screen. I type the password and it freezes, black screen.
