I have a two year old Acer Aspire that came with Vista Home 64 bit. Six weeks ago it crashed to a flashing cursor and I attempted to do a complete recovery following Acer’s eRecovery procedure from their hidden partition. During that upgrade, there were several BSOD incidents so I wiped the hard drive clean did a Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade. There were several BSOD during the upgrade and it took three times before Windows 7 actually installed. Anytime I use it now, there are always BSODs.

I have run WD diagnostics and the HD came back clean.
I have run memtest for 9 passes and no errors were reported.

I’ve attached the minidump files. Thanks for taking a look.

Looks to me like memory corruption. Start off by running these two hardware tests

Please run these tests and report back the results
1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-hardware-stress-test-prime95.html

Just run Prime95 since you already ran memtest

One crash blames your nvidia ethernet driver, but you just updated it. The other crash is inconclusive. If you are getting errors in prime95 then it's either your PSU, CPU, or motherboard.

I would start with the PSU since it is the easiest and least expensive to replace

I noticed that the fan on the video card was not running so I replaced the card. It didn't seem to help, the crashes are still happening all the time.

I really struggled with installing the display drivers in the new card. This only worked when I tried it in safe mode.

It never crashes while I am in safe mode, does that suggest something?

Attached is another set of diagnostics to review. Thanks again for another look, it seems like this is getting worse.

I did not replace the PSU, yet.
