Windows 7 does not boot after removing Linux

I recently removed ubuntu to install windows 7. However, even if my Windows USB detectes my ssd in order to install my OS in it, it does not boot from this disk after the installation finishes (after the step: windows will now restart to finish installation). It takes me again to the initial instalation screen of windows.

I used the commands fixboot and fixmbr to recover the boot to windows again, but the problem still exists. However, when I try to install Linux again, everything works perfectly.

Is this a bios problem? How could I fix it?:confused:

Did you install win7 from a usb stick (or external hdd drive)?
Did you detach the install media when doing the reboot? Please detach it .. so it (tries to) boots from SSD.

What happens if you remove the usb media after the installation and boot?

bootrec/fixmbr will rewrite the MBR. But the win7 installation does that as well. What linux code is he talking about? Only thing I what is linux related is maybe the boot manager ... located in MBR.

Looks like some BIOS menu(?) Select drive0 there. Is it really a HDD (I thought SSD)? Is it really the C400-MTF you want to boot from?

It might make a difference if this laptop is using UEFI or Legacy Bios.
It would help if you include more info in your SF specs, including the laptop make and model.

It is a Fujitsu Lifebook i7 U772 32B SSD.

When I remove my windows installation usb my pc shows the first picture attached to this message...

When I dont remove it, it goes again to the initial installation windows screen, even if I just installed the windows in the ssd..

When I run the diagnostic test from the application menu, my machine recognises both SSD and the other drive..

He has a ssd, he had ubuntu on it, he now wants to install 7 on the ssd.

Everytime someone here had ubuntu, linux etc. they had trouble installing W7, the linux, ubuntu code etc. had to be wiped from the drive before W7 would install.

Nothing in the bios should have to be changed.

What is fixed disk C400 ?

This looks like one of those hybrid things.

Greg knows about this.

Or is this a separate hard drive and an ssd ?

Why are there 2 fixed disks listed ?

If you want to install windows on the 32 GB ssd, the hard drive should not even be installed.
