Hi, I am new to these fourms BTW.
So, my laptop came back yesterday after not haveing it for six mouths due to repairs (Which FAILS).
Anyway as soon as I got it back I did a compleate restore to factory settings, but something bad happend, half way through the restore to Factory Settings my battery in my laptop failed.
Now when I turn it on I keep getting 'BOOTMGR is missing' message.
Then, after searching through HUNDREDS of pages looking for the solution to the problem I finaly found out that there is a repair disk that a user can create, BUT all the guides on how to create a repair disk are explaining it as if the expect you to have a WORKING windows 7 laptop.
The laptop came with NO disk and NO Usb it just came with the laptop.
I have VERY IMPORTANT WORK that needs to be done by the 24th June 2011.
Please help me.
Thanks

Hmm, running a laptop during an installation on the battery is pretty hazardous. The bootmgr missing can have many causes. I assume you tried to reinstall again from the recovery partition and got the same message.

One help you could give us to understand the situation is to download and burn the bootable CD of this program (it is the last entry on the page). Boot the CD from the optical reader and take a picture of what you see (should look somewhat like the picture below). Then post that picture here (use the paper clip).

Sorry guys but none of your solutions work.
Something different happened though, I downloaded it from a different web page and burnt it onto the disk and it did work.
BUT when I insert the disk, press F12 and go to boot up with cd a screen appears asking me which system I want to repair.
When I click on my laptops name and click next it pops up saying the following message:
'This version of System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of Windows you are trying to repair. Try using a recovery disc that is compatible with this version of Windows'
Well the file I downloaded from
The Internet said windows seven and it is the same file that I burnt to the disc but it is still more compatible.
So Does anyone know where I can download a file to burn to a disc for a WINDOWS SEVEN HOME PRMIUM EASYNOTE TJ68?????!?
Please help
