Windows 7 freezes randomly

Hi ! Today I've installed W7sp1 on this system:
CPU
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 45 °C
Brisbane 65nm Technology
RAM
2.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 387MHz (5-5-5-18)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M3N78 SE (AM2) 47 °C


All drivers are updated,but it freeze randomly for a second.
I've attached Event Viwer log
any solution?

The system is running on older technology and with minimal ram, not surprising in my opinion, that you may see some inefficiencies such as short delays in response.

Would be W8.1 a good handling for this system?
I've used XP and I want to upgrade to a new system because of xp death.
in Event Viwer log there are couple errors and warnings,there is something wrong?
