Windows 7 graphic driver for Intel 915GAG MB

Hi,

I have got Intel 915 GAG MB. Recently I installed windows 7 RC. Kindly help to solve video card issue as only Standard VGA driver is installed
by windows 7. Hence, screen resolution also cannot be adjusted.

unfortunately, none of the sites worked. Intel site doesn't have operating system windows 7 in their drop down menu. The HP link downloads, but during installation
it says `operating system not supported'. Will have to look for another way. Last time during windows 7 beta installation, the windows update had automatically updated the graphic driver, this time in the RC edition, it is not doing so.

You need to run the HP installation in Vista compatibility mode, that is enough to overcome its built-in check. The driver itself works fine after that. Although, I seem to remember the Intel notification tray icon needing permission every start up to run elevated. But there is a simple fix for that iirc.

eta; vista compatibility is selected by right-clicking on the installation .exe, selecting properties, then selecting the 'compatibility' tab, then ticking the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' checkbox and selecting 'windows vista' from the dropdown list. Then click OK and run the .exe.

915 graphic Driver for windows 7 RC

Dear 12eason sir,

Your suggestion did a great thing for me. I got the download from HP site and ran the .exe in vista compatibality mode. It has installed the Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family version 6.14.10.4704. Now everthing works fine, I am able to adjust the screen resolution and refresh rate.
