Sneak Peek at the RTM Announcement!

I thought I’d share an inside peek from our annual sales kick-off event in Atlanta. Steven Sinofsky joined Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on stage to announce the RTM of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. There’s even a clip of Steve Ballmer signing the gold RTM DVDs. Check it out!

Congrats to MS for the final RTM. :D

I'm just glad that Microsoft finally understand what the consumer wants. I thought the way they acted through beta/rc is exactly how most software should be developed. I think that many other software companies will copy Microsoft's approach to developing their own software. And who would have said that a few years ago? :p

I could list hundreds of reasons that W7 is right for me. The only worry I have is the flaw in UAC that many heard about. MS don't seem to want to fix it. Although I suspect MS have told anti-virus makers to bail them out and moniter for malicious activity in the affected area. :)
