Solved Windows 7 Home Premium not Genuine after HDD to SSD Clone

About a week ago I cloned my old 500GB HDD to a new 512 SSD for the simple benefits of changing to a SSD using Acronis True Image HD 2014. Everything seemed to be going fine, but I started receiving notifications that Windows is not Genuine. MGADiag shows corrupted files, but my Windows 7 was a clone of the OEM version, nothing has been changed since the day I purchased the computer. It appears that I am Licensed, but not validated.

I have looked at a ton of feedback on this, but cannot seem to find a solution to my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't think that I was having the same issue. That thread is where I started, but it's not clear what he did other than reformatting and trying again. He didn't have same validation code.

Thanks. I will give it a shot this evening after I am home from work and the kiddos are asleep.

Last night I formatted the drive and tried recloning. I have a feeling I will have the same issues, but I thought it was worth a try. I am now seeing a few additional things I might have needed to do with the drive before cloning, so I may have to start the process all over again anyways.

I will revisit once I have tried everything tonight.

I wanted to start fresh tonight, but had a lot of user errors reformatting, initializing, and cloning. I am running the cloning now, so hopefully it will work when I get back to this tomorrow. One thing I didn't check was whether there were Intel or other driver updates from Toshiba or intel. I will check all the drivers first if I have any issues with this clone and report back.
