...that's because I only leave patches up for two weeks, so that people don't attempt to install random files in their system.
I've re-uploaded it now, so you can try again...

Noel, I grabbed the ftmaa folder extracted it to C:\ so it's sitting there, what I am having trouble with is what mode to go into to apply the xcopy info, I have tried safe mode with command prompt, safe mode then opened a comand prompt, I have tried multiple F keys F8 F11 F12 Esc Del no matter what I do on bootup I can't find anything that says Repair mode

per the instructions
Now reboot to the Repair Environment - as soon as the machine restarts, start tapping F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top of which should be the option 'Repair my Computer'
Pick that
You'll have to log in with your username and password.

This is a Lenovo Tower model mtm 30991pu but for the life of me I can't figure out how to reach the repair my pc mode F8 offers a windows memory diag or starting of win 7 with no real options it just starts normal windows.

This occasionally a problem - you need to either use a repair disk or a retail disk to get around it.
You can also try using a different os entirely so long as it runs from its own media. Ill post more when I get home

I do have 3 recovery discs for the lenovo but when I insert disc one it just tells me warning this will erase all content and put your pc back to day one computer, i don't see any other option at that screen. I could burn an iso of the windows 7 home premium 64 bit stick that in, at boot it might give me other options...

Ok created the repair disc went in did the xcopy of the ftmaa contents rebooted, ran new scannow and sur.

It seems my cbs folder zipped is always much larger (23mb) than the uploader allows (8mb for zip file max), but I pulled out the cbs log, check sur and check sur persist along with including the windows update log.

I noticed in the logs I am missing files still, should I just wipe this and reinstall windows? Not really sure why it's showing that I am missing these I have copied thru xcopy the files via command prompt shows they copied, exit that reboot run new scans and still shows im missing stuff (baffles me).

I DO appreciate all your guys time but have no idea why this keeps happening.

I can't see in the uploaded CBS.log file that you've run an SFC /SCANNOW?

If you did the SFC before 04:21 this morning, please upload the latest CBSPersist file (CbsPersist_20150212092135.cab) - it has the results there.
If you ran it later, then we have a problem ;)

I did notice after a reboot I did windows updates and finally that one sticking one

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2847927)
Installation date: ‎2/‎12/‎2015 1:36 AM
Installation status: Successful

Did finally "take" after months of failure listings, so that's a great start right?

Oddly, that file didn't contain the data I was looking for, either.

Finally found it - and it had nothing interesting to say :)
However - the reboot after it does seem to have cleared a small logjam in an update, and it's probably this that you're seeing.

The repair environment work we did seems also to have cleared all the errors in the CheckSUR log relating to MSE/Defender which were present previously.

What's the status on updates now?
