Windows 7 home premium x64 OEM won't install.

I tried clean installing the os on my asus k53e with a new wd 1tb hdd and it just says reboot and insert proper media loop.My bios is set for ahci and the hdd as first boot priority.
Help me please.

How do you know the dvd works properly, has it been tested elsewhere ?

Are you choosing the dvd drive to boot 1st ?

The dvd works properly, it read norton's boot a while ago.
And i have tried booting dvd drive as first and 2nd priority

What do you mean the DVD read Norton's boot? We see nothing but problems here with Norton, which are normally resolved by uninstalling it completely.
