If you can enter BIOS and boot disks consistently when the HD is unplugged then the problem is likely the HD or cable and not the mobo.

I'd replace the cable first since the problem is same with both HD's. It may have been the cable all along causing you to replace HD.

Ok so I haven't got a new wire yet but I switched the 2 around and I got into bios what do you exactly want me to do

No it is always fairly lose on it but on the first one it's one tight

That was in the very first steps I gave you:

Write to flash stick or burn to DVD using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool

Did you download the latest Digital River ISO with SP1 and then burn it using Download tool or ImgBurn at 4x speed. If not burn another now.

Next try writing to flash stick with same tool.

This problem is almost always with the installer. Have you burned the ISO to DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed?

If so and it fails again, write the ISO to flash stick using Universal USB Installer with Win7 in dropdown menu. Boot stick using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key, under USB, Removable or HD's.

Yes, but you should have an .ISO file to do it with Pendrive linux Universal USB installer. Or you can use the tutorial to create a USB installer.
