Windows 7 Instalation CD error

after my harddrive crashing and getting a new one i installed a new one and now i am trying to install windows 7 on this fresh hardrive and it gives me this error after about 10 minutes of it installing nothing installs and i get this error " windows cannot install required files. The file does not exist"

May be the installation media is damaged.

You may download the official ISO of your version of Windows 7 SP1 ISO from here , burn it to a DVD or make a bootable pendrive http://www.sevenforums.com/hardware...ll-os-external-usb-dvd-drive.html#post1783351 and try installing.

Installing from a pendrive will be faster.

what program should i use to burn this dvd and how would i do it will the pen drive also work with a sd card?

Write to flash stick or burn to DVD using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool

I tried the disk and at first it has started to install and then I lt froze and the 2nd time I did it it gave me this error

Did you download the latest Digital River ISO with SP1 and then burn it using Download tool or ImgBurn at 4x speed. If not burn another now.

Next try writing to flash stick with same tool.

yes u used his link i assumed it wasent the latest but i guess it is and i downloaded this one -Windows 7 Home Premium SP1-U ISO
English x64: X17-58997.iso
i will try another dvd and i used the windows application for the first one
if not i will reply when i get a usb stick and i will see the outcome

Try also wiping the HD first: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

Unplug all other HD's and peripherals.

Reset the BIOS to defaults. Set SATA controller to AHCI first to try install.

Remove all but 2gb RAM to try install.

i tired wipeing the sdds and i have 4 disks and it says there is no free space or used space says no media

Unplug all but one drive and all peripherals.

If the previous steps don't work, boot free Partition Wizard
bootable CD to see if it shows the drive(s). Post back a camera snap if you can.

Create a Primary NTFS partition on your target drive and mark it Active, then try install.

The opposite way from how you installed it. Be sure to power down first.

ok so the drive is now physically out

Remove all of the HD's except the one you want to install upon.

Then try install. Report back exact error message text and when it occurs: Clean Install Windows 7

If this fails, reset the BIOS to defaults, set SATA controller to AHCI to try install, then IDE if it fails.

Then work through the other steps given including creating a Primary Active partition with PW CD.

how would i select just a single hard drive cause mine is in 2 partions it automaticaly does that when i bought my new hard drive it was blank then after i checked it it was put into 2

Just tried it again and after clicking continue it said this and a cd is already in their also when I went to browse for one I found this
