windows 7 installation drivers missing???

hello everyone, i'm having the exact same problem that "bonecrusher" was having back then with the device drivers during the installation of windows 7.. Could you please give me any lead on how to resolve this? i'm running the installation on a HP G42 Notebook that already has windows 7 installed with AMD Athlon(tm) II P320 Dual-Core Processor 2.10 GHz

Use the drivers given by the installer, then quickly updated via optional Windows Updates after install. ANy drivers then missing in Device Manager should be imported from the HP support webpage for your model, or google the exact make/model device for Win7 or Vista drivers to find most recent.

If there are other problems please specify them because few have time to read back through someone else's thread to then try to guess what your exact problem is.
