Windows 7 installation loop

I recently updated my driver on toshiba satellite laptop. When I try to boot it up it tries to run repair and then fails and loops. So i then attempt to install windows 7 using an official disk. Went to custom installation it loads for 20 minutes then fails. Next my comp resets and even if the disk isnt in I get a "set up is restarting" message. Then it fails. So now every tome i turn on the pc all it says is "set up is starting services" then " computer restarted unexpectedly" an endless loops of madness

Be sure to pay special attention to the steps in red about drivers so you don't make another mistake with them which can ruin your install.

When you get to the step you must boot the installation media which will override any errors you are getting: How to Boot A Computer from CD or DVD - YouTube

Delete all partitions using the Drive Options pictured in Steps 7 and 8 of http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html illustrated steps.

I shut the computer down and it installed 161 updates before completing shut down. It took a long time to complete. Anyway when I turned on my computer it said " failed to start" and then ran system repair to no avail of course. So now I am in the system repair loop again! Very surprising since the clean installation was an apparent success.

Did you use the lastest installation ISO with SP1 provided? There shouldn't be that many Updates.

Did you unplug all other disks, delete all partitions during the booted install?

Its a windows 7 disk about 9 months old and the only files i had saved were the backup files. And did not instal the sp1

I suppose i will be redoing the clean reinstall. I did however update my graphix card and my driver since I use te comp to play games

This time stick with the steps in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 using the latest official WIn7 installation ISO for your licensed version burned to disk or stick using the tool also provided.

If you have 4gb or less RAM use 32 bit: http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-58996.iso

If you have more than 4gb RAM use 64 bit: http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-58997.iso

Then follow the steps closely especially as they pertain to drivers, delete all partitions during the booted install.
