I have a new comp, windows seven came with it, new Motorola modem. No router no other computers straight connection to cable modem/. I connect to a page, no problem, For example yahoo. The second I click on any link on that page, it disconnects. I wait for the modem to reboot. i can try to enter another web site, if it works all my modems lights will be on, until i click any link, and immediately i loose connection.. Any clues what this could be.

If the modem lights go out randomly,. it's the modem that's at fault.

Try this.......Gio to Start > Run,. and type cmd,. now type ping Google.com

My replies are about 45ms . What are yours?
