Windows 7, Ipod, Hidden Folders

Hello, so I just wiped my computer clean with windows 7 home premium. And all my music is still on my ipod. I am trying to view the hidden files on the Ipod, but it wont let me. I went to Control panel->appearance & personalization -> Folder options-> View and i click show all hidden folders...and when i look at my ipod, I cannot see the hidden audio files....My goal is to get my Ipod and itunes synced.

will, itunes pick it up?, if so you may have to select manually manage music in itunes not 100% sure though

You may have to go into itunes adn enable the ipod to be used as a hard drive to see the files. I don't have itunes anymore but there is a setting that enables it to be used as a hard drive.

You might check into that. I don't know if it will solve your sync issue but it should let you see the hidden files and folders.

I think the iPod is formatted using HFS, which only Macs are allowed to see. Try using ufsexplorer, which lets you to view HFS format.

UFS Explorer: Data Access, Data Recovery, File Undelete software for Windows, MacOS, Linux, BSD file systems (NTFS, FAT, XFS, HFS, Ext3, ReiserFS, UFS, UFS2 and so on.)
